My theater had a fanclub a few rows behind me so I had free 4DX experience ahah! It only increased the tension in the scenes that hype up the introduction of some of the famous songs, and I loved the experience.

What I found refreshing about this biopic is that it avoids the "rise, fall, find peace" that seems to be the standard biopic formula. Instead, Michael is depicted as a very pure individual whose struggles mainly come from external forces and incidents. Maybe this is too early an observation, as this is apparently only the first movie (!), but I hope it stays true even in a potential sequel.

At any rate, the movie really depicts Michael as more special than any other artist I've seen the biopic of.

There is one montage which confused me (During the conception of the Thriller album, I thought they were designing the songs and suddenly my man just plays Beat It on the stereo system, so they were actually just designing the dances)

Overall I had a pretty good time.
